How to connect to the Internet bypassing the provider

Since the law on Internet censorship began to operate in our country, many users have encountered the problem of visiting a huge number of Internet resources. I must say that the law itself, of course, is needed by Russia. In one way or another, censorship is used everywhere: not only in North Korea, but also in a number of EU countries, and even in the USA.

The problem is that Roskomnadzor so far does not differ in legibility. Together with pages that really have no place in Runet, extremely useful sites often fall into the “black list”. Providers are in a hurry to restrict access to them, which they are not in a hurry to remove later, even after the resource is recognized as legal. What to do in this situation? How to use the Internet bypassing the provider?

There are several easy ways to access any site on the network. There are relatively simple ones that do not require additional installation of plug-ins or software. There are more complex ones. So let’s get it right.

Using Search Engine Cache
Cache – a kind of memory of search engines, which in one form or another can be opened in Yandex and Google. If the issue reflects the web resource you need, but when you go to the page, you get information that Roskomnadzor now “does not like it”, try the following:

return to the page with the issuance;
click the arrow located at the end of the site address;
select the option “saved copy” or “cached page”.
In most cases, the page opens. True, it will be useful only for reading (registering or performing any other actions on the page will not work) and receiving data.

Run turbo mode
A similar mode is offered to users by such systems as Yandex.Browser, Opera and several others. You can enable it in the settings. Its essence is to compress the data received from a specific resource, the flow of which will be routed through the browser server, and not through the provider.

Internet surfing software developers had no plans to circumvent Internet censorship. The mode was created only to speed up page loading and reduce traffic consumption. A side effect in the form of hiding from the provider of information about the viewed resource was found by users. And they successfully use it to this day.

Turn on the proxy server
We are talking about special server sites, which are commonly referred to as “anonymizing”. At one time, these intermediary resources were developed by programmers in order to help users who were blocked on the forum to access it. Anonymous users were actively used by office workers, whom the employer through the provider limited access to social networks and entertainment resources. Today, a proxy helps you access pages restricted by your ISP.

Using a proxy server is simple:
You open any intermediary resource: for example,,,, etc. Many of them provide services for free, however, you will be forced to watch commercials in exchange, constantly close banners, etc. Paid anonymizers do not have these inconveniences .

Enter the address of the page you want to go to in the corresponding window.

Use a prohibited site bypassing your provider.

There is also a more complicated, but convenient from the point of view of operation, method of setting the proxy server directly in the browser:

open your browser settings;
Find the “network-connection” path in the settings;
choose a manual way to configure proxies in the browser;
find a list of IP addresses of functioning proxy servers in a search engine;
enter the selected address in the settings.
This will allow all Internet traffic to be automatically routed through the server. Your provider, accordingly, will not be able to see which pages you go to and what information you receive.

Use VPN (Virtual Private Network)
The essence of the VPN is that your computer using it automatically turns you into a foreign user. VPN provider helps to automatically encrypt the channel through which data is exchanged that are inaccessible to your provider. There are both paid and free private networks on the network. You can connect to them in various ways:

Use the web resources of, and the like. To do this, just go to the control panel of your own PC or laptop, contact the network and sharing control center. After that, configure a new connection on the computer using the VPN. Each service encloses its name, server address and necessary password.

Install the appropriate extension for the browser. You can download it online. The extension will independently make the necessary settings. And you can turn it on and off later in the toolbar.

Download a separate VPN browser. The most popular of them today is TOR. It is available for download online. After installation, you can use it to open pages prohibited by your provider, like a normal browser
